To Know You is to Love You

To know you is to love you. Each and every one of you. Why? Because a good God who loves us with an overwhelming love calls us to do this:

“Love each other as I have loved you.” John 15:12

So. I love you all. Every single person reading this message. And every single person who doesn’t. I am here. But God is here too. ALWAYS. He loves you more than we could even fathom. My heart goes out to all of you. It truly does.

The Lord has loved me through every step of my journey. In my darkest moments He loved me. Through treatment He loved me. When I sank to my knees in tears and in utter defeat, He loved me. His love us unconditional. It is more than unconditional… It is indescribable. It is agape… The highest form of love.

I struggled with feeling worthy today. Do you ever feel like you aren’t worthy enough to be cared for and loved? I do. All the time. But here’s the thing… Here’s what I’ve had to learn and repeat to myself over and over… No matter how unworthy I feel, I am NOT unworthy. YOU are not unworthy. We are loved and cared for by the one true King. And our worth is in Him.

Life is hard. I get it. I really do. To all of you who struggled with feeling loved and worthy of love today, know this: YOU ARE LOVED!!!

I’ll say it over and over again. You are worthy. You are loved. God loves you. I love you. And I am here to walk by your side.
